Russell began his hairdressing career when he joined the Watford team as an apprentice in 1987. After completing his training and education in the Watford academy, Russell worked on the salon floor both cutting and colouring, after a year he specialised as a colour technician before being promoted to salon manager in 1996.

Throughout his career Russell has been heavily involved in Clipso’s seminar and show work, travelling throughout the UK and Europe alike. In 2001, he was part of the winning team at the L’Oreal Colour Trophy in the London region.

As a manager Russell is passionate about customer service, believing that a visit to Clipso is about more than just a fabulous cut and colour but about the whole experience. He believes every client should be treated according to their individual needs and aims, providing an exceptional level of customer service throughout the salon. This is a philosophy that Russell actively promotes amongst his strong team of Clipso stars.

Russell loves the transformation element of hairdressing and the satisfaction of knowing that his clients carry a piece of his work with them wherever they go.
