Terry opened the first Clipso salon in Watford in 1978. Following personal success as both a top session stylist and an award winning hairdresser, Terry swiftly set about turning Clipso into a prolific industry name, while also expanding the salon group through franchising.

Decades later, Terry has gone from strength to strength with appearances at top hair seminars worldwide and a host of industry awards to his name. To date, Terry and his group has won an amazing 22 hair awards, including seven times Regional Hair dresser of the Year, ArtisticTeam of the Year twice at the

prestigious British Hair dressing Award and the 2005 L’Oreal Colour Trophy Glamour Magazine award. These accolades, along with a reputation for creating home grown hairdressing talent, have firmly established Terry as a respected industry name renowned for his winning combination of technical and creative brilliance.

Terry is also a highly sort-after international platform artist and, in 2006, has already appeared on stage in Sydney, Barcelona and Dublin and has completed two Australian Tours.
